After 7 played minutes VBG ACADEMY got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Malm. Evert Sundberg struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Stig Ambjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bambi BK. 9 minutes into the game, Jörgen Malm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VBG ACADEMY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bambi BK the free kick. In the 11th minute, Stig-Arne Stabbe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Andreas Morat fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bambi BK's protests and gave Andreas Morat a yellow card for diving instead. If Andreas Morat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig-Arne Stabbe kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Jens-Åke Myhr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Edvin Ånger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bambi BK's Måns Sillén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Bambi BK from getting a goal against them. Stig-Arne Stabbe was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Åke Myhr stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play Bambi BK's Edvin Ånger was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Edvin Ånger kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jens-Åke Myhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Måns Sillén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bambi BK's zone, Jens-Åke Myhr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Måns Sillén came out of the goal and Jens-Åke Myhr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, VBG ACADEMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Drewitz to maneuver through the defense. Måns Sillén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Myhr in the 62nd minute of the match. Jens-Åke Myhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Måns Sillén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens-Åke Myhr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Måns Sillén having to make a save. Måns Sillén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malte Termander, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Måns Sillén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Åke Myhr in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in VBG ACADEMY's zone, Evert Sundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Ambjörnsson came out of the goal and Evert Sundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Måns Sillén was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. VBG ACADEMY fully deserved thier win.
