The referee showed Elof Ekgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Rune Mattsson came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Öxabäck BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Mattsson couldn't finish the play.

In the 55th minute, Petter Kock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Öxabäck BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Elof Ekgren hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Rune Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 64 minutes of play Mjöbäck's Elof Ekgren was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Öxabäck BK booed when Mjöbäck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Ekgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Mjöbäck's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Kock came free, but Walter Caspersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Mattsson in the 72nd minute of play forced Mjöbäck's goalkeeper Walter Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Öxabäck BK booed when Mjöbäck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Ekberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.
