Själevad's Bengt-Rune Österberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Själevad from getting a goal against them. Ivar Alebäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mattias Eskilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bengt-Rune Österberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kasper Emander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Levander, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Benjamin Löfkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Mattias Eskilsson made a precise shot to the right of Bengt-Rune Österberg. Själevad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. John Helström kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ralf Joensson's late challenge caught a Skyttorp IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralf Joensson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Själevad's Ralf Joensson got a free kick in the 39th minute. Kjell Törnqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Österberg having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 51 played minutes Själevad got a freekick which was hit by Eric Petersson. After 61 minutes, Kjell Törnqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skyttorp IF and the Själevad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kjell Törnqvist hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ernst Levander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Kasper Emander made a huge save. Själevad's Bengt-Rune Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Alebäck in the 67th minute of play. Ernst Levander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Själevad's zone, Mattias Eskilsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Rune Österberg came out of the goal and Mattias Eskilsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivar Alebäck struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Bengt-Rune Österberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skyttorp IF. Själevad's Bengt-Rune Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Eskilsson in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute Ivar Alebäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
