Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Richard Pilgren got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Siggman during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karlstad getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Albert Siggman hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Kaj Vennerkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älekulla's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaj Vennerkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anders Kiempe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th minute, Jesper Abrahamsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Karlstad's Jesper Abrahamsson in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Älekulla's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Älekulla getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rickard Söderberg hit a great ball. Richard Pilgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesper Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Robert Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Malcolm Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Älekulla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcolm Olofsson couldn't finish the play. If Malcolm Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Hamberg struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Robert Jansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karlstad. After some careless play in the Älekulla defense, Richard Pilgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Jansson. The Älekulla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Jansson should have stopped the shot. After 43 minutes of play, Karlstad's Alf Hamberg made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robert Jansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When Karlstad's Richard Pilgren in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Älekulla's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute of the match Albert Siggman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Jansson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robert Jansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Pilgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Peter Bergman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Jansson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70thth minute of the game Richard Pilgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Älekulla's Robert Jansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Pilgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Robert Jansson made a huge save. In the 90th match minute, Älekulla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Björklund to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Douglas Fransson from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Robert Jansson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 92nd match minute, Älekulla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the game, Karlstad's Jesper Abrahamsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Jansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Karlstad's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
