Villiam Dahlbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Pelle Malmberg made a huge save. If Isak Beck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Åre defense, Villiam Dahlbom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pelle Malmberg. The Åre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pelle Malmberg should have stopped the shot. Pelle Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isak Beck in the 27th minute of play. Pelle Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Beck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villiam Dahlbom's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pelle Malmberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Lammhult's Isak Beck, in the 42nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Lammhult. A collision led to Åre getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Erland Bäck hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Lammhult's Karl-Axel Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Elg in the 52nd minute of play. When Nils Hultin fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åre's protests and gave Nils Hultin a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the match, Åre's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Beck came free, but Pelle Malmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Isak Beck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Villiam Dahlbom came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Lammhult fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villiam Dahlbom couldn't finish the play. Aron Helberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Pelle Malmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isak Beck struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Pelle Malmberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lammhult. Lammhult were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Åre for a fine match.
