In a very dangerous position, a player in Blåsmark fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Folke Vibjörnsson struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. The supporters of Nol IK booed when Blåsmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Wallmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Blåsmark's zone, Tom Carlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Håkansson came out of the goal and Tom Carlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tomas Håkansson came out of the goal and Folke Vibjörnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tom Carlsson fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nol IK's protests and gave Tom Carlsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Nol IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Carlsson to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nol IK fully deserved thier win.
