Borgafjäll RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Transtrand the free kick. After a rather tough play, Borgafjäll RK's Anders Lilja got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Christopher Tillman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Svanberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Börje Persson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Borgafjäll RK got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Lundberg. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Borgafjäll RK's goalkeeper Tomas Svanberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Svanberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Björkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Transtrand were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Borgafjäll RK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mathias Odman took the corner. The supporters of Borgafjäll RK booed when Transtrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Bjursell didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Börje Persson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Fritz Bjursell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Persson might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reine Ekström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Börje Persson ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, William Jonsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Transtrand's Reine Ekström. Reine Ekström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reine Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Björkman in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Svanberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Transtrand's Reine Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Persson in the 65th minute of play. If William Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Transtrand booed when Borgafjäll RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Svanberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Björkman in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Borgafjäll RK got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Gunnarsson. When Ronny Bohlin fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Transtrand's protests and gave Ronny Bohlin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Transtrand getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ronny Bohlin hit a great ball. When Borgafjäll RK's Börje Persson in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Transtrand's goalie prevented a goal. After 82 minutes, Einar Fernström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Transtrand and the Borgafjäll RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. William Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Jonsson in the 86th minute of play forced Transtrand's goalkeeper Reine Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Börje Persson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reine Ekström was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 97th match minute, Transtrand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Klintæus to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 98 minutes, Börje Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgafjäll RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Persson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Borgafjäll RK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
