Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tomas Frykberg sped through GånghesterSK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan-Erik Eklund. Vidar Lindmark charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vidar Lindmark the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Viken IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidar Lindmark to maneuver through the defense. GånghesterSK's Thomas Linquist got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viken IFK's Vincent Felin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Bredberg in the 16th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Viken IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Wenerdahl. In the 17th minute, Joacim Bredberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in GånghesterSK's zone, Henrik Hagström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan-Erik Eklund came out of the goal and Henrik Hagström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Erik Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Hagström, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Henrik Hagström got in the 25th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jan-Erik Eklund handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When Henrik Hagström came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Viken IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Hagström couldn't finish the play. Henrik Hagström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Henrik Hagström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viken IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrik Hagström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Erik Eklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Tomas Frykberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jan-Erik Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Tomas Frykberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joacim Bredberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 59th minute. GånghesterSK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Charlie Vennerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlie Vennerberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Charlie Vennerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Hagström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Erik Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Hagström in the 72nd minute of the match. Viken IFK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joacim Bredberg 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. After a rather tough play, GånghesterSK's Claes Lindberg got a free kick in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Henrik Hagström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Erik Eklund was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Joacim Bredberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vincent Felin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute Henrik Hagström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to GånghesterSK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Evert Hjeltman hit a great ball. When Jim Sundberg fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GånghesterSK's protests and gave Jim Sundberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Viken IFK booed when GånghesterSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Erik Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Frykberg in the 98th minute of play. Viken IFK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
