Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Per-Erik Blom sped through GånghesterSK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jan-Erik Eklund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Erik Blom in the 11th minute of play forced GånghesterSK's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Månkarbo's Per-Erik Blom in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Månkarbo's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Erik Blom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Erik Eklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Linquists short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Vilhelm Åkesson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gilbert Nilsson took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Erik Eklund. Jan-Erik Eklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jan-Erik Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Blom in the 39th minute of play. Jan-Erik Eklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilbert Nilsson's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Per-Erik Blom struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jan-Erik Eklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Månkarbo. Jan-Erik Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Erik Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Gilbert Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Eklund having to interfere. After the first half Månkarbo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilbert Nilsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilbert Nilsson didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 54th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Gilbert Nilsson ran dejectedly back to his position. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of GånghesterSK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Månkarbo:s goal. In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Månkarbo. Edwin Andersson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jan-Erik Eklund. 0-3. In the 66th minute, Gilbert Nilsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Eskil Fribäck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Månkarbo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GånghesterSK the free kick. Eskil Fribäck hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match.
