Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stellan Lidström started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Dag Alén reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcus Björnsson. The goal made the score 1-0. Richard Blomkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Björnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stellan Lidström, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, BK Tåpaj's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Blomkvist came free, but Marcus Björnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Blomkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marcus Björnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes BK Tåpaj got a freekick which was hit by Axel Sandström. After a defensive mix-up in BK Tåpaj's zone, Stellan Lidström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Björnsson came out of the goal and Stellan Lidström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Årsta's Richard Blomkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Björnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Årsta's Stellan Lidström got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stellan Lidström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Björnsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Ted Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin Klemensson having to interfere. When Sven Skröder came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the BK Tåpaj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Skröder couldn't finish the play. A collision led to BK Tåpaj getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Torbjörn Målare hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Stellan Lidström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Blomkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Richard Blomkvist sped through BK Tåpaj's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Björnsson. Marcus Björnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Blomkvist in the 60th minute of play. Edwin Klemensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Skröder in the 69th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Stellan Lidström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Årsta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Dag Alén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Marcus Björnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Björnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Lidström in the 83rd minute of the match. Andreas Söderlund charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Söderlund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the BK Tåpaj defense, Richard Blomkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Björnsson. The BK Tåpaj fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Björnsson should have stopped the shot.
