Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edward Åkesson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gnosjö's Leonardo Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leif Wenerdahl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christer Lägdin went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute Åke Pihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Vallhamn BK getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. John Arvidsson hit a great ball. Christer Lägdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Leif Wenerdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leif Wenerdahl was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jonas Hedvall. Vallhamn BK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leonardo Lundqvist 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The supporters of Gnosjö booed when Vallhamn BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Ekrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Vallhamn BK's goalkeeper Leif Wenerdahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christer Lägdin. Christer Lägdin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Leif Wenerdahl made a huge save. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Åke Pihlberg sped through Gnosjö's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lennart Harman.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Lundqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Vallhamn BK's zone, Leonardo Lundqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leif Wenerdahl came out of the goal and Leonardo Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christer Lägdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gnosjö's Leonardo Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Vallhamn BK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. John Arvidsson hit a great ball. Leif Wenerdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Lundqvist in the 70th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Leonardo Lundqvist notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Vallhamn BK's Leif Wenerdahl. Leif Wenerdahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the match, Gnosjö's Christer Lägdin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leif Wenerdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leif Wenerdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Lägdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. John Arvidsson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Christer Lägdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Wenerdahl having to interfere. Leonardo Lundqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leif Wenerdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Lägdin in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Christer Lägdin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gnosjö's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Lägdin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Wenerdahl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gnosjö's Leonardo Lundqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Christer Lägdin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gnosjö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After some careless play in the Vallhamn BK defense, Leonardo Lundqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leif Wenerdahl. The Vallhamn BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Wenerdahl should have stopped the shot.
