Åke Målare started the match with the kick off. If Östen Offendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven Rudberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jan-Erik Kinell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sven Rudberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Gustavsfors BF's Karl-Oskar Forss got control of the ball when Örjan Berg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Örjan Berg struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Karl-Oskar Forss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grycksbo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Östen Offendahl in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Erik Kinell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Gustavsfors BF getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jan Kvick hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Offendahl in the 26th minute of play forced Grycksbo's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Kinell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sven Rudberg came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Gustavsfors BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Rudberg couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Gustavsfors BF booed when Grycksbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Pihlwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Offendahl in the 30th minute of play forced Grycksbo's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Kinell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Gustavsfors BF's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Målare came free, but Karl-Oskar Forss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Östen Offendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Kinell having to interfere. When Holger Pihlwall fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grycksbo's protests and gave Holger Pihlwall a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Holger Pihlwall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Östen Offendahl struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jan-Erik Kinell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gustavsfors BF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Offendahl in the 42nd minute of play forced Grycksbo's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Kinell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Sven Rudberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Kinell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Erik Kinell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Rudberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Östen Offendahl made a kick off. Jan Kvick's late challenge caught a Grycksbo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Kvick helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gustavsfors BF booed when Grycksbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Christoffersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Målare in the 56th minute of play forced Gustavsfors BF's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Forss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Erik Kinell was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Folke Stolpe. Sven Rudberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gustavsfors BF's Östen Offendahl in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grycksbo's goalie prevented a goal. Holger Pihlwall was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 64th match minute, Grycksbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Pihlwall to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Erik Kinell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Offendahl in the 71st minute of the match. Sven Rudberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Kinell having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Grycksbo's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Kinell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Rudberg. Sven Rudberg in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan-Erik Kinell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jan-Erik Kinell was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Östen Offendahl capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Östen Offendahl really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Östen Offendahl was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Gustavsfors BF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Östen Offendahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Erik Kinell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Östen Offendahl ran back to his position shaking his head. The attack was good, but when Östen Offendahl in the 89th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Östen Offendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jan-Erik Kinell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Gustavsfors BF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grycksbo throughout the match.
