An unexpectedly hard shot by Tor Bank in the 8th minute of play forced Grycksbo's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Kinell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Erik Kinell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor Bank in the 20th minute of the match. Stig Haeger hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Tor Bank was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Lessebo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Henrik Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Lund hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Berg in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrik Dahlbom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Örjan Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tor Bank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Drake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jan-Erik Kinell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Åke Målare made a kick off. Lessebo's Henrik Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Målare in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Lessebo's Henrik Dahlbom got control of the ball when Åke Målare tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrik Dahlbom was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Åke Målare showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 56 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Örjan Berg got free with Henrik Dahlbom in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Tor Bank ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Erik Kinell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Gilbert Drake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Kinell having to interfere. The supporters of Grycksbo booed when Lessebo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Apelqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grycksbo's Hubert Kinnman shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Henrik Dahlbom but with some difficulty. Grycksbo's Jan-Erik Kinell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Drake in the 80th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Åke Målare got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbert Drake in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan-Erik Kinell saved Grycksbo from getting behind. Grycksbo's Åke Målare got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Åke Målare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lessebo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
