A collision led to Askersund getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gustav Mårtensson hit a great ball. Bror Ek made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Örjan Lundin sent off a good shot on target. Örjan Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Askersund's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Alvin Vallander scored to the left of an out of position Bror Ek, making the score, 1-0. In the 20th minute, Markus Vennerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Askersund's goalkeeper Bror Ek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Örjan Lundin. In the 26th minute Eddie Rydelius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Arhenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bror Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Askersund's Bror Ek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Askersund from getting a goal against them. If Eddie Rydelius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvin Vallander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bror Ek having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvin Vallander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Markus Vennerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Carl Bergqvist made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Eddie Rydelius sent off a good shot on target. If Markus Vennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Askersund getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Markus Vennerberg hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Askersund's zone, Joakim Lundqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bror Ek came out of the goal and Joakim Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Alvin Vallander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Askersund's Bror Ek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Örjan Lundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvin Vallander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bror Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Alvin Vallander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bror Ek was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Örjan Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
