Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ulrik Hjälm made the kick off and thus started the match. Martin Eriksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Göran Mellin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Eriksson got free with Göran Mellin in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ulrik Hjälm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Viberg having to interfere. Sigvard Viberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Bryngelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ulrik Hjälm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Viberg having to interfere. After 24 played minutes, Högsäter RK's Kristian Berglund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Göran Mellin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Högsäter RK reached it. Tobias Asmundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Göran Mellin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Asmundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match Högsäter RK got a corner. Mockfjärd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lennart Termander ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lennart Termander got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Göran Mellin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Christian Bryngelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigvard Viberg having to interfere. Harry Strand's late challenge caught a Mockfjärd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Strand helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Högsäter RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Strand to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Christian Bryngelsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sigvard Viberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Asmundsson was the one to do the kick off. Sigvard Viberg made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Wilhelm Hedkvist sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute of the match Hans Smed sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Göran Mellin skillfully saved the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Lennart Termander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Göran Mellin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Tobias Asmundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mockfjärd's Göran Mellin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Eriksson in the 79th minute of play. Evert Stenqvist hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Martin Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Mellin having to interfere. Sigvard Viberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Högsäter RK got a freekick which was hit by Harry Strand. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mockfjärd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
