In the 9th minute of the match Max Eliasson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerry Linquist skillfully saved the ball. In the 12th minute, Georg Dahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Näsum RK's Erik Persson got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Alex mannar fc's zone, Holger Rosén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Linquist came out of the goal and Holger Rosén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roland Alströmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jimmie Lidström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Holger Rosén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Alex mannar fc's zone, Erik Persson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Linquist came out of the goal and Erik Persson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex mannar fc's Jerry Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Persson in the 36th minute of play. Holger Rosén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Erik Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Näsum RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Persson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Holger Rosén might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerry Linquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Holger Rosén ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Erik Persson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerry Linquist was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The supporters of Alex mannar fc booed when Näsum RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Brovall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joachim Täman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Holger Rosén to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Erik Persson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Alex mannar fc's Jerry Linquist. Jerry Linquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Alex mannar fc getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Jan-Ove Hult hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Alex mannar fc got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Täman. Erik Persson in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jerry Linquist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alex mannar fc's Jerry Linquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Rosén in the 92nd minute of play. Näsum RK's Holger Rosén got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
