Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hannes Viberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcus Johansson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Per Wallman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Gert Asserlindh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Viberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gånghester IK's zone, Hjalmar Lövskog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Johansson came out of the goal and Hjalmar Lövskog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hannes Viberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hannes Viberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Asserlindh having to interfere. Gustaf Tillman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Johansson having to make a save. Hjalmar Lövskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Johansson having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hjalmar Lövskog made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Mattias Näfver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gånghester IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Näfver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gert Asserlindh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaf Tillman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Marcus Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gustaf Tillman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vrigstad RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaf Tillman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Johansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaf Tillman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Marcus Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gånghester IK's goalkeeper Marcus Johansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hans Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Lövskog in the 73rd minute of play forced Gånghester IK's goalkeeper Marcus Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Gånghester IK's Mattias Näfver made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gert Asserlindh was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute Hannes Viberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Asserlindh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Hannes Viberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hannes Viberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vrigstad RK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gånghester IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
