The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Kellbom during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Åke Kellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 6th minute Christoffer Bäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andy Molin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Garsås's zone, Christoffer Bäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Molin came out of the goal and Christoffer Bäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andy Molin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Bäck in the 14th minute of the match. Christoffer Bäck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andy Molin having to make a save. Markus Östensson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 16th playminute. 21 minutes into the game, Emanuel Blomquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garsås's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Locos the free kick. After 21 played minutes Garsås got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Blomquist. 23 minutes into the match, Garsås's goalkeeper Andy Molin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Östensson. When Christoffer Bäck, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 25 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Andy Molin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Christoffer Bäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Molin having to interfere. The supporters of Los Locos booed when Garsås was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Oskar Wallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Jonasson in the 34th minute of play forced Los Locos's goalkeeper Zenon Bendyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Locos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Göran Målare was slow to take the kick. During this time Garsås's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Garsås booed when Los Locos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Markus Grep didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenon Bendyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Jonasson in the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Garsås's goalkeeper Andy Molin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Markus Östensson. Holger Strömbom kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Oskar Wallander made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Locos's goalkeeper Zenon Bendyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute of the match Markus Grep sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andy Molin skillfully saved the ball. André Glad kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Christoffer Bäck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andy Molin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christoffer Bäck in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andy Molin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christoffer Bäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Garsås's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Östensson came free, but Andy Molin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Oskar Wallander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 70th minute of the match Holger Strömbom completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Holger Strömbom a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 76 minutes into the game, André Glad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zenon Bendyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Christoffer Bäck came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Los Locos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoffer Bäck couldn't finish the play.
