After 10 minutes of play, FC Bayern's Leif Apelqvist made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Överman was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FC Bayern getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Harry Hård hit a great ball. Henry Hök received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andreas Överman came out and tried to block the shot, but Henry Hök slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Henry Hök was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bayern's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Gigant the free kick. FC Bayern's Roger Levander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Berg in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Anton Eklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gigant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Eklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Harry Hård was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bayern's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Gigant the free kick. In the 35th minute, Harry Hård hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Gigant were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after FC Bayern's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bo Beckman took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Gigant's corner Bo Beckman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roger Levander quite easily take care of the ball. In the 41st minute, FC Bayern's Leif Apelqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With a little luck, FC Gigant's Andreas Överman got control of the ball when Christian Qvalfeldt tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leif Apelqvist made a kick off. Anton Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Levander having to interfere. Börje Berg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Qvalfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Andreas Överman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Leif Apelqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Christian Qvalfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Gigant getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. André Häll hit a great ball. After 85 played minutes, FC Bayern's Per-Arne Tunström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andreas Överman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Bayern reached it. When FC Bayern's Leif Apelqvist in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Gigant's goalie prevented a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Gigant players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Bayern.
