Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Osvald Brask started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, one of Övre Soppero:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Övre Soppero. In the 9th minute, Osvald Brask got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Pihlblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Birger Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Olof Näver came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Övre Soppero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Näver couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Ove Edström during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Osvald Brask received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Måns Tham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Boets IK's Måns Tham got control of the ball when Olof Näver tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Boets IK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Gregersson hit a great ball. Roger Västlund's late challenge caught a Boets IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Västlund helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Övre Soppero got a freekick which was hit by Roger Västlund. Birger Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Flinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The nice shot from Olof Näver in the 35thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Måns Tham had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 36th minute, Sven-Ove Edström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Olof Näver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Flinck in the 42nd minute of play forced Övre Soppero's goalkeeper Birger Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Pihlblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Bergqvist having to interfere. Olof Näver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Måns Tham made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Pihlblad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Eric Pihlblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Flinck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Birger Bergqvist made a huge save. Bo Flinck was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. Boets IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Roger Västlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bo Flinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Västlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Måns Tham having to interfere. When Övre Soppero's Osvald Brask in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boets IK's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Boets IK's zone, Olof Näver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Måns Tham came out of the goal and Olof Näver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Måns Tham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvald Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Olof Näver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Måns Tham was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
