Måns Tham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Månsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Boets IK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sven-Ove Edström hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Bo Flinck made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Billock. IFK Norra Billinge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 22nd minute Joel Månsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Tham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jimmy Fredriksson sped through Boets IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Måns Tham. After 31 minutes IFK Norra Billinge's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonny Boman who took care of the corner kick. Joel Månsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Måns Tham read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Boets IK's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Fredriksson came free, but Måns Tham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eric Pihlblad was the one to do the kick off. Jim Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Måns Tham having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, IFK Norra Billinge's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Flinck came free, but Samuel Billock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eric Pihlblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute of the match, Gunnar Andreasson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Måns Tham saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When IFK Norra Billinge's Jimmy Fredriksson in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boets IK's goalie prevented a goal. Jimmy Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. IFK Norra Billinge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joel Månsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Måns Tham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Månsson ran back to his position shaking his head. IFK Norra Billinge's Samuel Billock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Flinck in the 92nd minute of play. Måns Tham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 94th minute, IFK Norra Billinge's Jimmy Fredriksson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Måns Tham. Måns Tham yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. IFK Norra Billinge played a much better game than Boets IK and deserved their victory. The Boets IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
