Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jan-Erik Forss got the match started through his kick off. Gustav Sandström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Vidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Bruse took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustav Sandström. Gustav Sandström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Vidman in the 11th minute of play forced Holms SK's goalkeeper Gustav Sandström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Vidman in the 18th minute of the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Färentuna's goalkeeper Gunnar Åberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gunnar Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Forss, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Forss in the 29th minute of play forced Färentuna's goalkeeper Gunnar Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Pontus Ekeroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Holms SK's Patrick Björkkvist tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jan-Erik Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gunnar Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gunnar Åberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Lindgren in the 44th minute. If Nils Bruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Färentuna were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig Vidman to make the kick off. Färentuna's Nils Bruse got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nils Bruse came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Färentuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Bruse couldn't finish the play. Nils Bruse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Gustav Sandström made a huge save. After 59 played minutes, Färentuna's Gösta Pihlberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustav Sandström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Färentuna reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Harry Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holms SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Lindgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Åberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pontus Ekeroth's late challenge caught a Holms SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pontus Ekeroth helped the player get up and apologised. Patrick Björkkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gunnar Åberg. Färentuna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nils Bruse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gustav Sandström made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Färentuna's Nils Bruse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustav Sandström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Holms SK's Gustav Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Vidman in the 83rd minute of play. Gunnar Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harry Lindgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gunnar Åberg having to make a save. A collision led to Färentuna getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jonatan Melin hit a great ball. When Jan-Erik Forss fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holms SK's protests and gave Jan-Erik Forss a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Färentuna booed when Holms SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Erik Forss didn't get a good kick on the ball.
