After 22 played minutes Lyrestad FF got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Örtendal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charlie Dalström during the 24th minute. The supporters of Flower City booed when Lyrestad FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Alström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Adrian Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tage Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Edvin Hellström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tage Sundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 48th play minutes Edvin Hellström shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Tage Sundström and just under the crossbar into goal.
