In the 3rd match minute, Horn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Erik Gudmundsson to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Horn's protests and gave Jonny Ahlqvist a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Horn's Jonny Ahlqvist got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 18th minute, Olov Berglund made a precise shot to the right of Per-Åke Vacker. Horn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Karl-Ove Ahlerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Bivall having to interfere. Per-Åke Vacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The supporters of Burseryd booed when Horn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Berglund in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Åke Vacker saved Horn from getting behind. Per-Åke Vacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Berglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Karl-Ove Ahlerot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Bivall having to interfere. Per-Åke Vacker came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Burseryd's Magne Billström. But to his dismay, Magne Billström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Horn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Burseryd were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Karl-Ove Ahlerot made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Horn's Alexander Månsson got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Olov Berglund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Per-Åke Vacker. Horn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olov Berglund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Olov Berglund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Per-Åke Vacker made a huge save. Olov Berglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66thth minute of the game Magne Billström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Horn's Per-Åke Vacker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horn's Per-Åke Vacker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magne Billström in the 69th minute of play. Mattias Gulliksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Burseryd's goalkeeper Mikael Bivall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Per-Åke Vacker didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 79th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Per-Åke Vacker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magne Billström in the 89th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Karl-Ove Ahlerot made a precise shot to the right of Mikael Bivall. Burseryd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Burseryd had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
