Tingsryd RK's Sven Käller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Sjöberg in the 24th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Hans Jansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven Käller was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Sören Sjöberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Linus Olsmann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiktor Arenius in the 39th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The supporters of Tingsryd RK booed when Grusplans Gubbarna! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Säv didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Grusplans Gubbarna! walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
