Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Vidar Kruse came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Hakenäset FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vidar Kruse couldn't finish the play. If Vidar Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Hääger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Kruse in the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Felix Mellin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hakenäset FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Mellin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match Birger Berggren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Häger skillfully saved the ball. Jan Häger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Forssell in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Hakenäset FF's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Danielsson came free, but Jan Häger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Hakenäset FF got a freekick which was hit by Felix Mellin. When Joel Forssell came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Hakkas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Forssell couldn't finish the play. Hakkas's Joel Forssell got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Häger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Julin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Michel Julin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Häger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes of play, Hakkas's Joel Forssell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Häger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joel Forssell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Häger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vidar Kruse was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Hakenäset FF getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Håkan Lindsten hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Hakenäset FF's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Julin came free, but Jan Häger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vidar Kruse in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torsten Hääger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felix Mellin scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Hääger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Joel Forssell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jan Häger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Forssell got free with Jan Häger in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
