Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jens-Erik Holmgren kicked off to start the match. Horn IFK's Filiph Hellström suffered a concussion in the 2nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 2 minutes, Harald Lindsten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osby and the Horn IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Harald Lindsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Horn IFK's Claes Finman got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes Osby got a freekick which was hit by Harald Lindsten. Rutger Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Lindman having to interfere. Philip Gustafsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Rune Andreasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tony Klintæus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harald Lindsten hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Claes Finman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jens-Erik Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Karl Mickelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osby's Jens-Erik Holmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Horn IFK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Olov Brander hit a great ball. Sune Lindman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutger Back, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Jens-Erik Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Klintæus having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rutger Back was the one to do the kick off. Rutger Back's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sune Lindman firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tony Klintæus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Horn IFK's goalkeeper Tony Klintæus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rutger Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Lindman having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Rutger Back had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sune Lindman. Osby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rutger Back was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tony Klintæus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Erik Holmgren in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Sonny Finman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Osby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horn IFK the free kick. The supporters of Horn IFK booed when Osby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Finman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rutger Back received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sune Lindman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rutger Back fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Lindman having to interfere. Lennart Wahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sune Lindman having to interfere. Philip Gustafsson kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tony Klintæus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Andreasson in the 85th minute of the match. If Rune Andreasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Wahlström during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lennart Wahlström kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Osby were awarded a corner. Kim Apelquist went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Viktor Dalgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tony Klintæus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Rune Andreasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Horn IFK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
