The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rudolf Skytt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Skröder made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Mats Petersson sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Rudolf Skytt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erik Skröder. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 16th minute, Patrik Kullander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Jönsätt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Torsberg having to interfere. Erik Skröder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Skytt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Månkis Rangers getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Mikael Vennerberg hit a great ball. Erik Skröder acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nils-Emil Allbom. Mats Petersson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Erik Skröder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 33 minutes into the match, Christian Biörling notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Skattkärr's Bertil Torsberg. Bertil Torsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erik Skröder made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Mats Petersson sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Mats Petersson sped through Månkis Rangers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik Skröder. In the 44th minute, Mats Petersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skattkärr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mats Petersson to strike the kick off in the second half. When Skattkärr's Mats Petersson in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 55 minutes of play, Skattkärr's Mats Petersson made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Skröder was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th match minute, Månkis Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Norström to maneuver through the defense. Mats Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Erik Skröder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Skröder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Petersson in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Petersson in the 70th minute of play forced Månkis Rangers's goalkeeper Erik Skröder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Skröder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Petersson in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Rudolf Skytt made a precise shot to the right of Erik Skröder. Månkis Rangers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Christian Biörling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Månkis Rangers booed when Skattkärr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rudolf Skytt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skattkärr's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Peder Näfver scored to the left of an out of position Bertil Torsberg, making the score, 6-2. If Rudolf Skytt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Månkis Rangers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
