Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Krister Dalgren got the match started through his kick off. Vilhelm Björnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Artemio Gitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vilhelm Björnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Gärlningsbergs FF's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Dalgren came free, but Kahar Sutarman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Gärlningsbergs FF's goalkeeper Kahar Sutarman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Gerdberg. After a rather tough play, Eldsberga IK's Sverker Ros got a free kick in the 19th minute. Alf Browall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Vilhelm Björnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eldsberga IK's Vilhelm Björnberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svante Kvalfält in the 24th minute of play. Sverker Ros hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Gitano in the 27th minute of play forced Eldsberga IK's goalkeeper Vilhelm Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calle Björling charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calle Björling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Gärlningsbergs FF got a freekick which was hit by Calle Björling. The supporters of Gärlningsbergs FF booed when Eldsberga IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Gerdberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Krister Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kahar Sutarman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leo Gerdberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Alf Browall made a precise shot to the right of Vilhelm Björnberg. Eldsberga IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Eldsberga IK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Axel Wallgren hit a great ball. Svante Kvalfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Björnberg having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Alf Browall made a precise shot to the right of Vilhelm Björnberg. Eldsberga IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to Eldsberga IK getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Fritz Lindström hit a great ball. After the first half Gärlningsbergs FF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alf Browall made a kick off. Artemio Gitano had several of the Eldsberga IK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Vilhelm Björnberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Egil Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Browall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vilhelm Björnberg having to make a save. In the 63rd minute, Eldsberga IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Artemio Gitano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Alf Browall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svante Kvalfält struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Vilhelm Björnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gärlningsbergs FF. If Alf Browall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilhelm Björnberg having to interfere. Alf Browall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kahar Sutarman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Gerdberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Vilhelm Björnberg came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Gärlningsbergs FF's Svante Kvalfält. But to his dismay, Svante Kvalfält quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Vilhelm Björnberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artemio Gitano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 88 minute of play. If Svante Kvalfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Svante Kvalfält received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vilhelm Björnberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Svante Kvalfält slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 95th minute. Gärlningsbergs FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
