The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustaf Håning during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gustaf Håning kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Nils Öberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Sven Söder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Sven Söder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uppsala FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gärlningsbergs FF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Uppsala FK's Sven Söder got a free kick in the 19th minute. Adam Alströmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Browall in the 24th minute of the match. Mark Österberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Sven Söder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uppsala FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven Söder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Uppsala FK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gustaf Håning hit a great ball. Uppsala FK's Adam Alströmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Gitano in the 42nd minute of play. Tobias Biörling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Kahar Sutarman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Browall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Uppsala FK's Gustaf Håning got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Uppsala FK got a freekick which was hit by Christian Flink. Svante Kvalfält recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Alströmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Browall in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Tobias Biörling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uppsala FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Biörling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calle Björling kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Adam Alströmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Kvalfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Alf Browall made a precise shot to the right of Adam Alströmer. Uppsala FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 78th minute, Alf Browall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Alströmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sven Söder got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd minute, Sven Söder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Alströmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alf Browall in the 85th minute. In the 88th match minute, Gärlningsbergs FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Kvalfält to maneuver through the defense. If Egil Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Gärlningsbergs FF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Uppsala FK.
