Stefan Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Per-Erik Bohlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennart Svartengren was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Utö's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A hard shot 8 in the game by Stefan Wallin from a close distance when the talented Per-Erik Bohlin managed to make a qualified save. Torsby FK's players were relieved. Henric Sander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Wallin struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Per-Erik Bohlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Utö. After a rather tough play, Torsby FK's Arman Jansson got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Torsby FK booed when Utö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Bohlin having to interfere. Per-Erik Bohlin stood somewhat misplaced when Stefan Wallin came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. The supporters of Torsby FK booed when Utö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Engman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Henric Sander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Bohlin having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Engström during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Stefan Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Utö's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Wallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Erik Bohlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joakim Nykvist to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 52nd minute of the match Michael Engström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Michael Engström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 53 played minutes Torsby FK got a freekick which was hit by Michael Engström. After 53 played minutes, Utö's Inge Söderström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Per-Erik Bohlin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Utö reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Wallin in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Erik Bohlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 played minutes Torsby FK got a freekick which was hit by Arman Jansson. After having played for 61 minutes, Inge Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inge Söderström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Marko Vennerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Gabriel Nordgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Erik Bohlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henric Sander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Beck having to interfere. Nils Lööf struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Eric Beck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torsby FK. After 73 played minutes, Utö's Kjell-Arne Gabrielsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Per-Erik Bohlin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Utö reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Wallin in the 74th minute of play forced Torsby FK's goalkeeper Per-Erik Bohlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Utö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Fastesson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Utö's zone, Henric Sander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Beck came out of the goal and Henric Sander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stefan Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Bohlin having to interfere.
