An unexpectedly hard shot by Hannes Åström in the 36th minute of play forced Långshyttan IK's goalkeeper Torbjörn Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Lokomotiv Stolzon's Kevin Ekeberg made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lokomotiv Stolzon's Per-Arne Bergendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Kilstedt in the 46th minute of play. Maximilian Runberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 48th playminute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hannes Åström to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, Lokomotiv Stolzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Odman to maneuver through the defense. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Lokomotiv Stolzon's Filip Sjöström got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Torbjörn Josefsson. Roland Kilstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Ekeberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torbjörn Josefsson having to interfere. If Hannes Åström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Edvin Gallberg hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. In the 98th minute of the match Filip Sjöström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torbjörn Josefsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
