Fabian Stål tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Stål showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Vibjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krister Vibjörnsson in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Stål saved Vemdalen from getting behind. Magne Trillkott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morgan Jonasson in the 22nd minute of play forced Mårdaklev's goalkeeper Einar Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Mårdaklev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Billvall to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th match minute, Vemdalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Morgan Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. Carl Britz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Stål having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vemdalen's goalkeeper Fabian Stål, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th match minute, Vemdalen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joar Markusson to maneuver through the defense. Vemdalen's Fabian Stål proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Vemdalen from getting a goal against them. Carl Britz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Fabian Stål when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Krister Vibjörnsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Mårdaklev was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Hääger to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Billvall charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Billvall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vemdalen booed when Mårdaklev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Billvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Gottfrid Modig fired a really elegant long shot, but Einar Björnberg threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Mårdaklev's zone, Magne Trillkott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Einar Björnberg came out of the goal and Magne Trillkott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krister Vibjörnsson in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Stål prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabian Stål took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Vibjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magne Trillkott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Einar Björnberg made a huge save. Morgan Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Björnberg having to interfere. Fabian Stål showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Vibjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Mårdaklev's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Jonasson came free, but Einar Björnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mårdaklev! When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Vemdalen's Gottfrid Modig got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Einar Björnberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Vibjörnsson in the 84th minute of play forced Vemdalen's goalkeeper Fabian Stål to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Krister Vibjörnsson made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Stål. Vemdalen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 93rd minute Morgan Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
