Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erling Anundsson got the match started through his kick off. Folke Ek hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Gustav Rolfsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Ted Pettersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Hamburgsund's zone, Gustav Rolfsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingemar Ekström came out of the goal and Gustav Rolfsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG!'s Lars Kullander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Anundsson in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG! booed when Hamburgsund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Askberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ted Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ingemar Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erling Anundsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Kullander having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kalle Salqvist during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG! got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Salqvist. Hamburgsund's Birger Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Michael Biörling fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hamburgsund's protests and gave Michael Biörling a yellow card for diving instead. Michael Biörling hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gustav Rolfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Ekström having to interfere. After having played for 45 minutes, Erling Anundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamburgsund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erling Anundsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ted Pettersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hamburgsund's zone, Ted Pettersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingemar Ekström came out of the goal and Ted Pettersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nils Askberg hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Ingemar Ekström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustav Rolfsson's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Ingemar Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Rolfsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Birger Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Hamburgsund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Jansson couldn't finish the play. When Nils Askberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. After 83 played minutes Hamburgsund got a freekick which was hit by Nils Askberg. The corner led ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG!'s Calle Fagerberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Ingemar Ekström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 88th minute, Birger Jansson fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Lars Kullander. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Hamburgsund's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. After having played for 90 minutes, Sten Nordin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hamburgsund's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Nordin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Kullander made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Birger Jansson sent off a good shot on target. ÄR VÄRLDENS SÄMSTA LAG!'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
