Sune Kjellman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Axelsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Sjövik IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casa Pia FC the free kick. The supporters of Casa Pia FC booed when Sjövik IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wictor Hellbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Jon Sjöberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tobias Axelsson skillfully saved the ball. Axel Lindqvists short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Harry Andersson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Sjövik IK's zone, Rune Ersman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Axelsson came out of the goal and Rune Ersman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leonardo Nordström fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sjövik IK's protests and gave Leonardo Nordström a yellow card for diving instead. Mathias Hamberg hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Axel Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Harry Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Harry Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Lindqvist in the 56th minute of the match. Tommy Kilstedt hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Casa Pia FC's Jon Sjöberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sjövik IK. Sjövik IK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rune Ersman 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. After 66th play minutes Magnus Forsberg shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Harry Andersson and just under the crossbar into goal. If Magnus Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
