Christoffer Rudkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Hult, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Håknäs FF's Michael Enström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 20th minute Michael Enström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Sundén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Svanskog fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Svanskog's Patrik Isaksson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute, Isac Ahlqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Eliasson during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Manfred Bengtsson's late challenge caught a Håknäs FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. After 43 played minutes Svanskog got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Bengtsson. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Hult to make the kick off. Christoffer Rudkvist came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Svanskog's Patrik Isaksson. But to his dismay, Patrik Isaksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Lennart Sundén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Enström in the 57th minute of the match. When Håknäs FF's Michael Enström in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 65th minute, Mats Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Svanskog's George Hult in the 83rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Christoffer Rudkvist was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Håknäs FF through an amazing save. In the 85th match minute, Håknäs FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Klintæus to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Christoffer Rudkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svanskog's Manfred Bengtsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Manfred Bengtsson off the ground. After 90 played minutes Svanskog got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Bengtsson. 94 minutes into the match, Isac Ahlqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Sundén. Svanskog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isac Ahlqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Håknäs FF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Svanskog to leave the ground with a draw.
