Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Tim Bergdal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 6 minutes into the game, Sven-Åke Sandström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team Lino FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rävlanda FK the free kick. Sven-Åke Sandström hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Tim Bergdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Algren in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Team Lino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvid Vall to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Rävlanda FK's Gösta Lekberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tim Bergdal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some careless play in the Team Lino FC defense, Gösta Lekberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Bergdal. The Team Lino FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Bergdal should have stopped the shot. Rune Björkdal scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frank Andersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Team Lino FC's Tim Bergdal got control of the ball when Gösta Lekberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Team Lino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Sandström to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Team Lino FC's Per-Åke Lundström got a free kick in the 37th minute. Erik Vidman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Team Lino FC's Tim Bergdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Team Lino FC from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, Rävlanda FK's Tim Bergdal threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kurt Algren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Kurt Algren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Bergdal was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 56th minute Rune Björkdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Andersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Team Lino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Lundström to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Algren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Bergdal having to interfere. Team Lino FC's Tim Bergdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Algren in the 69th minute of play. Kurt Algren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Bergdal having to interfere. Konrad Drewitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Andersson having to interfere. If Gösta Lekberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Melander during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Rävlanda FK got a freekick which was hit by Hans Melander. Team Lino FC's Tim Bergdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Lekberg in the 96th minute of play. Konrad Drewitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Frank Andersson made a huge save.
