The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Hedström got free with Linus Söderberg in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frans Brenner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Elof Siggesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elof Siggesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elof Siggesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Hansson in the 9th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Jan-Åke Hammarström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Linus Söderberg, 1-0. Alf Hansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elof Siggesson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Karl Hedström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Linus Söderberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Säffle FK's zone, Frans Brenner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elof Siggesson came out of the goal and Frans Brenner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elof Siggesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Hedström got free with Linus Söderberg in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frans Brenner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elof Siggesson having to interfere. Christian Säv hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jan-Åke Hammarström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Linus Söderberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Åke Hammarström slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Jan-Åke Hammarström made the kick off in the second half. Säffle FK's Elof Siggesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Säffle FK from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Hållsta FK's zone, Karl Hedström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Söderberg came out of the goal and Karl Hedström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Säffle FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
