An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Nilsson in the 6th minute of play forced Bureå IFK's goalkeeper Mathias Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig-Åke Söderman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Johnsson having to interfere. Max Rydberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Sven-Åke Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Stig-Åke Söderman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Johnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Michel Nilsson made a precise shot to the right of Mathias Lundin. Bureå IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 20 played minutes Häradsbäck IF got a freekick which was hit by Tord Vestberg. Max Rydberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Rydberg got free with Sven-Åke Johnsson in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Christian Hägert had to leave the field with a concussion. When Ernst Torstensson fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Häradsbäck IF's protests and gave Ernst Torstensson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Häradsbäck IF's Ernst Torstensson got a free kick in the 39th minute. A hard shot by Lukas Kilström from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Sven-Åke Johnsson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Rydberg got free with Sven-Åke Johnsson in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stig-Åke Söderman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sven-Åke Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michel Nilsson was the one to do the kick off. 63 minutes into the match, Bureå IFK's goalkeeper Mathias Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Östlund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Rydberg in the 66th minute of play forced Häradsbäck IF's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Max Rydberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Åke Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Mattias Östlund notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Bureå IFK's Mathias Lundin. Mathias Lundin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Max Rydberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Åke Johnsson having to interfere. Häradsbäck IF's Sven-Åke Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Söderman in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of Häradsbäck IF booed when Bureå IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Söderman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bengt-Åke Henriksson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
