Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oskar Holmberg in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anders Nyman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ärla booed when Stugun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Lindholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Eliasson got free with Philip Jakobsson in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the game, Jan-Erik Barck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stugun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ärla the free kick. In the 14th minute Erik Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ärla's zone, Oskar Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Nyman came out of the goal and Oskar Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Erik Pedersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Anders Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Ärla's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Erik Pedersson came free, but Anders Nyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Eliasson in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Philip Jakobsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Esbjörn Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esbjörn Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Philip Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jan-Erik Barck was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 38 minutes had been played. In the 39th minute, Jan-Erik Barck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philip Jakobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stugun's Philip Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Lundström in the 44th minute of play. Anders Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Gregersson in the 46th minute of the match. The supporters of Stugun booed when Ärla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Bålström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Erik Pedersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
In the 56th minute, Erik Lundström made a precise shot to the right of Philip Jakobsson. Stugun's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 62ndth minute of the game Emil Eliasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stugun's Philip Jakobsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ärla's Emil Eliasson got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Emil Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ärla's Anders Nyman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ärla from getting a goal against them. Esbjörn Hansson's late challenge caught a Stugun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esbjörn Hansson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Ärla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Hansson to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Erik Pedersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jörgen Njurenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Nyman having to interfere. Stugun's Kent Gregersson got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Stugun getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Torbjörn Billing hit a great ball. Ärla's Michael Nyman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stugun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Eliasson in the 92nd minute of play forced Stugun's goalkeeper Philip Jakobsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Erik Lundström notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Stugun's Philip Jakobsson. Philip Jakobsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ärla's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
