Fritsla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stråtjära the free kick. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 77th match minute, Stråtjära was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Klint to maneuver through the defense. Villiam Svanberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulf Björk went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Lennart Tillman came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Stråtjära fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Tillman couldn't finish the play. Einar Sävström might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Villiam Svanberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
