Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arvid Rosin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fritsla's Ulf Björk got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ärla's goalkeeper Anders Nyman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Einar Sävström put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Anders Nyman. Ulf Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Nyman having to interfere. When Einar Sävström came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Fritsla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Einar Sävström couldn't finish the play. Eskil Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Sjöström during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Sjöström hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Erik Lundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ärla's Anders Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Björk in the 34th minute of play. If Einar Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. George Bergstedt's late challenge caught a Fritsla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Bergstedt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, George Bergstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40thth minute of the game Ulf Björk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ärla's Anders Nyman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anders Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Björk in the 42nd minute of play. The referee gave Ärla a penalty, 51 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Michael Nyman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fritsla's Sture Blomquist. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulf Björk to strike the kick off in the second half. Arvid Rosin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Lundström in the 64th minute of play forced Fritsla's goalkeeper Sture Blomquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ärla's Esbjörn Hansson got a free kick in the 71st minute. The long shot by Pål Gallin in the 72nd minute really tested Anders Nyman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ulf Björk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arvid Rosin in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sture Blomquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Fritsla getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. George Hurtig hit a great ball. Erik Lundström kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Ulf Björk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sture Blomquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Erik Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fritsla's goalkeeper Sture Blomquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 100th minute Arvid Rosin suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Ärla's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
