Ingvar Ekberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frans Tunström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Modig having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joseph Häger during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Per Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Tunström in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SIFT Academy's zone, Frans Tunström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Modig came out of the goal and Frans Tunström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Max Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilhelm Wallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arvid Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Mattias Pihlwall's shot from long distance in the 33rd minute was not bad at all, but Herrljunga's Ingvar Ekberg knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Max Linqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Modig having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Herrljunga's Max Linqvist made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Per Modig was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frans Tunström struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Per Modig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herrljunga. 47 minutes into the match, SIFT Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Frans Tunström came free, but Per Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Arvid Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th match minute, SIFT Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Soned to maneuver through the defense. Frans Tunström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Per Modig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Max Linqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herrljunga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Linqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Max Linqvists short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Per Modig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Per Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Linqvist in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Herrljunga getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Christian Haglund hit a great ball. If Max Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Herrljunga's goal looked a bit too open when Vilhelm Wallin came free, but Ingvar Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustav Skräddare hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ingvar Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Max Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
