Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gunnebo FK's Allan Danielsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Österbymo's Max Kvick has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 2nd minute. With a little luck, Gunnebo FK's Fredrik Ahlberg got control of the ball when Sten Lindqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sten Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fredrik Ahlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Allan Danielsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Sjögren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Gunnebo FK's Ulf Dahlquist in 21 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jonas Sjögren guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a defensive mix-up in Gunnebo FK's zone, Sten Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Ahlberg came out of the goal and Sten Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Lindqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredrik Ahlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Max Kvick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Torsten Hafström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Österbymo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Hafström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conny Vollander charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conny Vollander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Conny Vollander hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Österbymo's Svante Svensson got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience held their breath when Gunnar Askestät in the 44th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonas Sjögren's left hand side. Sten Lindqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Gunnar Askestät hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Fredrik Ahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Kvick, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sten Lindqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Sten Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Österbymo's supporters rose to their feet, but Sten Lindqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredrik Ahlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fredrik Ahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Kvick in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Allan Danielsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonas Sjögren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Max Kvick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredrik Ahlberg having to interfere. Conny Vollander, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jonas Sjögren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvin Svanér in the 81st minute. Fredrik Ahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Kvick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
