Robert Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kjell-Arne Hedlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Jonas Sjögren made a huge save. Jonas Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Skröder in the 6th minute of play. Sten Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Henry Grep tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Jan-Erik Henriksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Larsberg IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Österbymo the free kick. After 12 played minutes Larsberg IF got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Henriksson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Nyman in the 15th minute of play forced Österbymo's goalkeeper Jonas Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Max Kvick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Sjögren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tage Törnblom went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 27th minute, Österbymo's Tim Arhenius seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tim Arhenius the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Österbymo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tim Arhenius had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 28th minute, Ingvar Skröder made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Sjögren. Österbymo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ronny Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jonas Sjögren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Grep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Kvick, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Larsberg IF's goal looked a bit too open when Max Kvick came free, but Henry Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Skröder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ingvar Skröder was the one to do the kick off. If Max Kvick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Österbymo's Daniel Hedlund got a free kick in the 54th minute. Larsberg IF's Kjell-Arne Hedlund got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Larsberg IF's Jan-Erik Henriksson suffered a sprained foot after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Torsten Hafström fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Österbymo's protests and gave Torsten Hafström a yellow card for diving instead. Torsten Hafström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Jonas Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Hedlund in the 60th minute of the match. Jonas Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Hedlund in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Larsberg IF's goal looked a bit too open when Max Kvick came free, but Henry Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Österbymo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Ålberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Larsberg IF's goalkeeper Henry Grep, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Henry Grep made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Kvick in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Larsberg IF's goal looked a bit too open when Max Kvick came free, but Henry Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Larsberg IF's Henry Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Kvick in the 80th minute of play. Jonas Sjögren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Nyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Daniel Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Max Kvick's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Grep read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Larsberg IF were the better team. Larsberg IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
