After 21 played minutes Högland FF got a freekick which was hit by Olov Asserlind. Tullens bollklubb's Gösta Browall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Hellström in the 31st minute of play. Tomas Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Granqvist having to interfere. Alvar Nyqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Granqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Alvar Nyqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Granqvist having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Högland FF's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Nyqvist came free, but Tobias Granqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tullens bollklubb booed when Högland FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Torsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Granqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvar Nyqvist's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Kåre Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Tullens bollklubb players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Högland FF were winning 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Samuelsson in the 54th minute of play forced Högland FF's goalkeeper Tobias Granqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Granqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Nyqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredric Hellström struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Tullens bollklubb's Tomas Samuelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Fredric Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tullens bollklubb's goalkeeper Gösta Browall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alvar Nyqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Granqvist having to interfere. Jonatan Ekström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gösta Browall made a huge save.
