Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 8 minutes, Ingvar Söderqwist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Borås BK and the Kovland IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kovland IF booed when Borås BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Söderqwist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Borås BK's goalkeeper Herman Collin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evert Grelsson. A collision led to Borås BK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Kjell-Arne Vall hit a great ball. In the 15th match minute, Kovland IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stellan Beckström to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Hjalmar Vibjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borås BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hjalmar Vibjörnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Holm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Evert Höijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Söderqwist in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Holm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonas Holm came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Borås BK's Ingvar Söderqwist. But to his dismay, Ingvar Söderqwist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Borås BK's Karl-Magnus Bark got a free kick in the 34th minute. Kovland IF's Arman Nordlander couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Borås BK. After a rather tough play, Kovland IF's Evert Grelsson got a free kick in the 41st minute. Mathias Ersman struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jonas Holm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borås BK. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evert Grelsson got free with Herman Collin in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mathias Ersman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ingvar Söderqwist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias Ersman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Holm having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Mathias Ersman could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Jonas Holm however easily saved by the left post. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Borås BK's goalkeeper Herman Collin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Mathias Ersman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kovland IF's Jonas Holm. Jonas Holm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ingvar Söderqwist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Holm having to interfere. Evert Höijer struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Herman Collin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kovland IF. Herman Collin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Grelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, Ingvar Söderqwist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borås BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Söderqwist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herman Collin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Grelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kjell-Arne Vall charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell-Arne Vall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kjell-Arne Vall kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
