Herman Collin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Ström in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Borås BK's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Ström came free, but Herman Collin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Ersman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Kalle Odman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Collin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half Mörlunda were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sonny Bergfeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. When Edgar Ström fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mörlunda's protests and gave Edgar Ström a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Mörlunda got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Ström. After 54 played minutes Sonny Bergfeldt rounded Borås BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Herman Collin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonny Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingvar Söderqwist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kalle Odman having to make a save. Borås BK's Herman Collin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Hedbom in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mörlunda's Nils Hedbom got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The referee gave Borås BK a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hjalmar Vibjörnsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mörlunda's Kalle Odman. 2-3.
