Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Meltington FC's Mark Mickelsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Linderöd IF! The referee gave Meltington FC a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vilgot Burman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Linderöd IF's Hugo Broman. 0-1. If Peter Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Linderöd IF's zone, Peter Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Broman came out of the goal and Peter Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Mark Mickelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute Joakim Lindström suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 35 minutes into the game, Nicklas Törnblom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meltington FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Linderöd IF the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Meltington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Törnblom to maneuver through the defense. Linderöd IF's Mattias Giöck got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anders Svensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattias Giöck went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Linderöd IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andréas Ahlfors in the 54th minute. Linderöd IF's Andréas Ahlfors was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anders Svensson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nicklas Törnblom struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Hugo Broman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meltington FC. If Peter Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Hugo Broman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Linderöd IF's goalkeeper Hugo Broman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Meltington FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Meltington FC's Mark Mickelsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 83rd match minute, Linderöd IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Lundkvist to maneuver through the defense. Mark Mickelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hugo Broman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Lundkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Hugo Broman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Mickelsson's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Hugo Broman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Mickelsson in the 96th minute of play. The Meltington FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
