Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Säter IF's Thomas Hafström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Gösta Lundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 minutes, Eric Apelkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Säter IF and the Åsarp FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Säter IF getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Eric Apelkvist hit a great ball. Gösta Lundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Sivert Törnblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Lundberg in the 15th minute of play. Thomas Hafström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Jonsson having to interfere. Egil Melberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sivert Törnblom having to make a save. Ivan Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Classon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Siggesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Törnblom having to interfere. The referee gave Säter IF a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Berglund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Åsarp FK's Ivan Jonsson. 0-1. 43 minutes into the game, Christian Fredriksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsarp FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Säter IF the free kick. Christian Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Åsarp FK's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Classon came free, but Ivan Jonsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Siggesson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Siggesson in the 54th minute of play forced Säter IF's goalkeeper Sivert Törnblom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Lidström hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Benjamin Browald hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Egil Melberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sivert Törnblom was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Thomas Hafström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Classon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henry Siggesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Törnblom having to interfere. Egil Melberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henry Siggesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Törnblom having to interfere. Åsarp FK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
